Black and Decker Power To Go

Black and Decker Power To GoPower-To-Go is an amazing little power supply product by Black and Decker which has so many uses and features. Power-To-Go is perfect for charging cell phones, personal digital assistants (PDA), laptops, and digital cameras. What I like the most about Power-To-Go is its design, extended power time, uses, and of course the price.

Like other batteries Power-To-Go is small enough to fit into a coat pocket or bag, but Power-To-Go’s design has more to it thn that. It has a little power meter on the front that will tell me when it needs charging and I do not have to mess with those nasty annoying adapters; it is so simple a child can figure it out.

The feature that attracted me to Power-To-Go the most is its ability to power my PDA’s for an extra nine hours. I have a Nano Ipod which the battery lasts for one hour, a laptop which the battery lasts three hours, and my Blackberry battery four hours, with Power-To-Go I can extend the usage time of these up nine hours more, so that I can use these electronics when and where I wish.

Thinking about the uses of Power-To-Go seems to speak for itself. A 12 hour road trip for example, passengers can use Power-To-Go to power a portable DVD player to watch a movie or laptop to surf the internet. GPAs and PDAs can be powered in time of emergencies, or just if their batteries are low with no other power source to charge them. The battery of a Digital Camera can be extended allowing more memories to be preserved. Another example is a long meeting where laptop is needed. Power-To-Go can extend the life time of the laptop until the meeting is over, ensuring everything during the meeting is noted. The uses of Power-To-Go are endless.

When it comes to buying second batteries for laptops, cell phone, digital cameras or any other PDA a fortune is paid. Power-To-Go costs around 20 dollars and comes with a 2 year warranty. Looking at comparison, my second battery for my laptop alone costs 150 dollars while my other PDA requires charging from a wall outlet, but Power-To-Go costs so little I am saving money in the long run and I do not have to continuously charge them.

The saying, “The best things in life are free”, does not really apply to Power-To-Go, but it does come close. I’am saving money by having one around I do not have to worry about compatibility because it works for almost everything. The 2 year warranty just tells me I will have power for all my needs, saving me a fortune and allowing me to power what I need when I need it.
