This Workmate is an amazing helper in the home shop and allows clamping where regular clamps will not work. With a bench height of 30 & 34" (not including sawhorses) and a 25" by 18 by 34 work surface it can be placed almost anywhere from the work bench to the truck box. Clamping can be performed in vertically, parallel and diagonally. When it comes to heavy work projects weight is no problem for the workmate, it can hold up to 450 pounds. The workmate can be used for wood work, repair work, finishing, and of course clamping. With its hard surface construction it will resist damage and folds for easy storage.
